  1. The Fishman is setup as a loft-like living/screening room, complete with sofas and a variety of chairs down front, plus folding chairs in what might be called the rear loge. There's a sweet little bar. A scrim projection of a twinkling, foggy San Francisco night as backdrop. Very laid back. Then - the music, films and stories begin. Fascinating mix of narrated documentaries (Louis Armstrong, the world's oldest woman, SF's fog horn meister,,) and dreamy/nightmare-ish personal animations. Tender and funny, fierce and prophetic. It's endearing and heartbreaking. I was hooked. Go.
