  1. Very original and unique performance by Thaddeus Phillips
Captured the essence off traveling across borders with great humor and irony
As one who has traveled extensively, I could especially relate to the performance

  2. Thaddeus Phillips is one of the most creative artists in theatre today. We first saw him in !il Conquistidor and now 17 Border Crossings. So thoughtful, so funny, so true -- every single crossing was politcally significant. Thank you, Thaddeus Phillips, for a meaningful evening.

  3. I see a lot of theater and a lot of monologues. 17 Border Crossings is head and shoulders above most. Mr. Phillips creativity, dexterity - both verbal and physical, humor, and coffee-fueled energy made for an evening that exceeded my expectations. It's worth going just to see how many different uses a simple table can be put to.

  4. Great theater, great performance. His reflection on the Syrian father escaping with his daughter in their boat, "Are we there yet?" especially poignant.
